Wendy St. has always been surrounded by artistic creativity.
Some of her earliest memories are of discussions about the importance of color and form.
This is reflected in the palette and subjects which she chooses for her paintings.
Wendy has had the great fortune to have studied in Paris, at the Ecole du Louvre, with Maurice Sérullaz.
Professor Sérullaz is internationally renowned for his writings on the French Impressionists and as the leading authority on Eugène Delacroix.
The formation gained from these studies is clearly shown in Wendy's art.
There are two distinct directions that Wendy pursues in her painting. The first follows the tradition of
19th century imprssionists. The second is completely new...Cosmic Impressionism™.
Wendy is a member of the Manhasset Art Association in New York, a group of painters and sculptors founded in 1948.
She was chosen by the Town of Oyster Bay, NY, to be one of a select group of artists for their Rotational Art Exhibit.
Wendy St. shows in solo and group exhibitions in New York and San Francisco.
